FINALS WEEK

Hello all!

I have never done so much studying and work in my entire life!

Monday and Tuesday I had class (didn't do much...watched presentations in German, Global Lit, and OC...and debated in Arc).
Wednesday I had no finals, but I had TONS of work. I had to write two pages for my Arc research paper, construct my Global Lit trifold on Six Characters in Search of an Author, and study for German.
I expected my trifold to only take me half an hour (hour tops) to print, cut out, and tape the paper to my trifold...ha...yeah right! It took bloody three hours!
Then I met with Joc at 8:30 to do research paper business, but she wasn't done. She started working on footnotes while I was just sitting there. I helped her with making the footnotes and formatting them. Then we finally traded papers. She wrote all over mine I loved it! And I wrote all over hers, too. Yay grammar Nazis! Anyways, got done at 10, then went to Quizlet and made German "notecards" and quizzed myself.
Went to the German final this morning and it turns out I needn't have studied! I memorized ten authors and their famous books for nothing! Along with some directors and actresses...oh well...test seemed fairly easy :)
Then my presentation went fine. Matt paired up with me. Had glasses and kinda short and nerdy in a good way!! Caleb has a girlfriend! She's a freshman. But he whenever he was talking and I'd listen in, he look my way to include me! :)

I have been hanging with Kjersti and Shanna and Allie and Heather and Natasha a lot lately! :)

Shanna and I were having a devil food fight that ended today. We kept putting them in each other's mail bags in the hall. So finally Shanna grabs them out of her bag and follow me to my room. I let her come in because she kept saying she was going to throw them into the garbage (I told her we had no garbage). Then I throw my coat into my moonchair underneath my loft, put my keys on my desk, and put my backpack by my desk. Shanna asks which bed is mine. I point to Jasmine's. Shanna throws them up there. lol! How could she not tell which bed was mine!? Eventually she grabbed them from Jasmine's bed and throws them on mine. Then I threw them on hers. Then Charlie threw them away.

We played a balloon popping game for a study break yesterday. We blew up a balloon, tied it to one foot, and then tried to pop a different person's.

I ran into Faith/Squirt today. We talked about classes and Naomi. lol She didn't know that Naomi (her roommate) and I knew each other! Ha!

Kjersti told me yesterday how she and Miranda couldn't understand how Jasmine and I can stand living with each other because we're so different. We came to the conclusion that we're both easy going with our differences.

Today I had breakfast with Heather and Natasha. We studied and I asked random German questions.

Then I met Natasha for dinner. We scored the big round table by the fireplace (so warm!). Heather was sitting alone so Natasha recruited her. Then Shanna was sitting alone. So I called her over and she sat with us. Then I went and waited for ice cream. There was a cute guy working! He's a foreign guy named Jan. He has blue eyes and is kinda tall. Anyways, some lady came up and asked if I was waiting for ice cream and I said "Yeah" and she said she'll find someone and she just happened to go to him. And I was ecstatic and shocked to find that he had an accent when he served me ice cream!! And he's Heather's manager. I practically skipped to the table. Then Shanan made fun of me :P lol she's getting back at me for all the Charlie jokes. Then Heather and Natasha left, then Kjersti showed up. Then Jamie showed up!

I walked with Julia to the ITS center. We jumped on snow and some hit my eye. And my pants. They got wet.

Cuddle bag! So...some people on my floor were playing with this cuddle bag in the hall. I thought nothing of it when they were pushing each other off of it. Then, as I was about to head outside, I saw the bag outside one of the doors. I dragged it to in front of Shanna and Allie's door. Then knocked and ran away. I hid for a couple seconds then walked out and asked what the heck that thing was. They dragged it inside their room. Kristi and Kate knocked on my door later that night asking if the bag was in my room. I said no. They were near freaking out because they thought it might've gotten stolen if it wasn't in their room.

Gotta go eat pizza!

The Lonely Life

Hey all.

Today wasn't so great after all. No one wanted to accompany to Subway! I asked at least three people...only serves as a reminder of how I'm not super close with anyone here... I walked twelve blocks in 27 degrees Fahrenheit (not too bad...thighs were numb when I got back). In the dark. By myself. Nearly got hit by cars driving too close to the sidewalk. Good thing I brought my iPod with.

I'm so glad that Suzanne will email and text me and msn with me! I cannot explain how much of a relief and a pleasure and how happy I am to have her!! :D Thanks Suzanne!!!!!!!!!!

I am tired of seeking people out at college...I feel like I do that enough and don't want to annoy people. The thing is, though, that if I don't seek them out, I never get to go anywhere...sometimes makes me feel unwanted...but...I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!

I'm watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon) by myself in the room while I eat my Sub sandwich. The Vampire Diaries is on in an hour or two.

SIXTEEN DAYS 'TIL CHRISTMAS!!

NO HW 4 DA WEEK

Hello all!

I gave my last speech for Oral Comm today. I got back to my room after eating for 45 minutes with the club. Then slept 'til two thirty.

I am bored.

Here's what I have left to do:

• Persuasive Speech outline to upload
• Make my BREW trifold
• Finish German Chapter 10
• Write one page of research paper
• Debate prep
• FINAL EXAM STUDY: OC
• FINAL EXAM STUDY: German

And that's it. It's allll due next week. So...I feel oddly liberated. And bored. And not motivated to do homework.

Volunteering...

Hello all!!

I just got back from volunteering at a cat place.

It was fun! I got to spend an hour and a half with this cute guy ;) . lol The Pres. It was awkward at first, but I had fun. I smiled a whole lot even if he didn't. We talked a good deal about books and professions and the Project and whatnot. We filled cat food containers, cleaned dishes, and cleaned out some compartments. Then we played with the cats! I got to ride in his car. It felt cool! He looked at me a lot. :)

I get back and talk to Danielle and eat with Julia. We talked in German. Then got cheese curds. Then I came back. And Shanna made fun of me. lol
Oh! Apparently I smell like cats. :/

Trashy Tuesday

Hello all.

Yes, it's been a while since I've written a decent blog post.

So...we don't have a final in Global Lit because the prof wants us to focus on our projects! Yay and boo...I'd really like the exam to boost my grade that I'm scared about. But it helped when I told her this was "dead week." lol

I did a German PowerPoint today.

From 2-5 I napped and ate and watched TVD because I couldn't focus (as stated last entry).

I'm wondering what to get everyone for Christmas...and who to get for!

I am so tired...

Dead Week

I'm currently watching The Vampire Diaries. Don't ask me why.

Um...I don't know what to write. I just want to zone out...

Woot! Tweet! Sacrifice!

Hello all!

Sorry for lack of updates.

I took a three hour nap today.

I am hungry.

One of my tweets got retweeted NINE times!! I am excited!! I need to tag my posts more often... :)

TVD tonight was AWESOME!! I reallly enjoyed the Delena actions. Everyone keeps saying they expected them to kiss (and at times it looked like Damon was going to kiss Elena), but I still say it's too soon for Elena. I'm not seeing her in love with Damon yet. Sorry.

Door Incident

Just got back from sending seventeen Christmas cards.
I was walking down my hallway, then I pushed on Allie and Shanna's door and kept going when suddenly the door opened!
I was suprised! I then told Shanna what happened and demonstrated it, when it happened again! Allie opened the door just after I pushed it! lol
