Sweet Summer Nights

Hello all!

Less than a week in counting until I move out of home and into college.

I realize I'm going to miss having my loved ones close to me (location-wise). Chelsea came over for a movie night (sadly, we haven't really hung out much this summer...let's work on that for next summer, okay?), and I had a blast! I love when we have our deep conversations and when we share books and movies and we have similar views on issues and life. Chelsea, you are such a sweetie! I love how you aren't afraid to be yourself and how confident you are and how you always want to have fun! Your awesome personality definitely stands out in a crowd. We often walk down memory lane together (we're cousins! of course we have history!). We've been through so much together. You're the reason I don't like mashed potatoes :) (remember? because you said you didn't like them...so I still don't like them...). You're the potato to my chip ;) (because we both adore chips). Thanks for being there, Chelsea!! You are such a blessing!!!

Today, I received two books I ordered last week for college. I hope the Inquiry books I have yet to buy are cheap. *hops on the wishful thinking train*

I am scared of how busy I'll be in college. I'm starting to wonder if I'll have time for a blog. I may just only be able to drop a couple lines here and there, but I don't think it'll be as epic as I hoped it to be. It's all Jesse's fault :P . We've been Facebook messaging (I've been trying to do that with many peeps these days) and his latest message sounded as though there wasn't enough time in the day! I'm worried. It's Jesse for goodness sake! If he's super busy...

I shall miss movie nights with friends and family. We bond so much over them.

I still haven't done much with summer reading book for college. :P

'Tis rather chilly tonight. Sure, I enjoy having it this temperature because it reminds me of Fall, but it's still Summer!

Seriously, peeps, you're going to have to come visit me at college. I'll be home on some weekends, but most everyone is busy not being busy on the weekend. Weekends are for relaxing and releasing the stress of school/college. Hm...good thing for Facebook and texting so we can plan these get-togethers.

I have yet to start packing up my clothes. I don't know where or how I'm going to pack them. Would you believe I only own one pair of flip-flops, sandals, tennis shoes (1 old, 1 new), high heels, and winter boots? Rather sad for a girl, huh? lol

A concern that has arisen from the college...I'm--according to politicalcompass.org--a Populist. The college is more liberal than I'd like it to be. It's a minor issue, but I can handle it. Wait...why did I even point this out?

I honestly don't know how Sunday is supposed to play out. Do I just move into the dorm right away or is there someplace I have to go and check in? I'm really confused as I don't think I've received any schedule or instruction for Sunday other than we can move in starting at 8 a.m. And orientation goes until Wednesday. There's also catering meeting scheduled--see, even the Dining Services have a bit of a schedule--in between.

I still haven't heard or seen any confirmation of the remaining loan. *sighs* Anyone know of any scholarships that can be applied for before January? I'm going to try to get on top of this loan business so I don't freak out and struggle again.

I do believe that's all the updates I have for the moment (unless you want to read about how my Eustachian tube in my left ear is "dysfunctional" and the nameless mood-ruining pain/ache involved that sometimes spreads to my jaw--but isn't really in my jaw...). Toodles!

Thanks!
God Bless!
Tiff
