It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like...

Hello all!

Yes, yes, I haven't written in forever.

Here's what has happened recently:

• Julia and I sat in Danielle's open room, closed the door, and scared Danielle.
• I saw Harry Potter the week I got an average of 5.5 hours of sleep every night. It was so awesome! Our showing was at 12:02...so we left at 10:30 and had to walk all the way around the ten theaters to get to number nine. It was SO cold and windy. Some DJ was out playing Airplanes and people everywhere had blankets. We, however, got to go inside right away. I watched Bolt in the meantime. Didn't finish it. The movie started late and I cried five times SPOILER ALERT 1. Beginning upon realizing it is the last movie. 2. Hedwig died. 3. George's ear 4. Graveyard upon seeing Lily and James gravestones 5. Dobby's death . The movie was FANTASTIC! And we got back at three in the morning...
• Panel discussion went well. Global warming. Chelsea, Charlie, Jocelyn, Katie, and I did very well (even though Katie and I didn't know how to argue back against the other sides claims).
• IOC Speech contest last night was meh.
• Tutor was not at tutoring for the past two weeks.
• Watched The Hangover with some clubbies at Amanda May's. Locked Natie outside. Stole Aubrey's phone.
• Dad's birthday consisted of church basically...
• Typed six pages of research paper Sunday...
• Got new posters for my room
• Spent an hour doing works cited pages for aforementioned research paper for archaeology (it's a rough draft we had to turn in on our debate topic...why we shouldn't study artifacts with no provenance...hard to argue...it's more of an ethical debate...)
• IT SNOWED TEN INCHES!!!

Well...that's about it.

Classes got cancelled for tomorrow due to the upcoming storm! And because no one wants to be stranded at college over Thanksgiving break.

Jasmine and I have been talking a lot lately. Yay! It's better than silence.

Street Fair

Hello all!

I am in a quite pleasant mood despite the mound of homework I have.

This morning German went okay enough. After class, I ate breakfast with Allie and Shanna. Then went back to my room and read through some Delena quotes that I'd like to use in my Christmas cards to my DE acquaintances. And I watched the Damon and Elena scenes from episodes 120, 121, 122, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208* (talking about Elena), and 209. Wow...but they were all only 0:58 - 7:00 minutes long. Yesterday I watched The Dorm Life. It's funny.

But archaeology was cool. Before class I talked with Connor and Spencer. Then during class I talked with Justin (he asked me what the Deathly Hallows symbol looked like). Class wasn't difficult.



Lunch came and I went in line right away just so I could stand behind a cute guy! *happy guilty tongue sticking out face* And we both went for fries, too. Then Tina called out to me and I was looking all around but in front of me lol. And the ketchup squirted out of the container thing (sounded like a pop) and it scared me! I tried again and the same thing happened (me jumping, too)!

Came back to the room and Jasmine made Spaghetti O's and they smell delicious!

I'm heading to the library to start on my pile of homework!

Wow...I haven't blogged in a week!? Huh...well...

The funeral sucked. The Vampire Diaries rocked. I cannot wait two more weeks for the next episode.

Um...my Research Paper is done. And ugh...

I'm sick of homework.

So...my alarm clock didn't go off this morning. It somehow was switched from morning to evening...and I thought my watch was, too.

My Life is a Friggin' Rollercoaster

Hi all.

I'm so out of it. So out of it. So out of it. Up and down constantly. Mixed and conflicting feelings.

A big revelation was shocking (actually two) and I'm trying to help. I have a frickin' huge research paper to draft by Thursday. There's a funeral Thursday. Tab Thursday. Speech Thursday. Concert high. Drama high.

I saw a play. Heaven's Gates & Hell's Flames. It hit home. I cried during the beginning. Just quietly and not hardcore at all. Just teared up.

I'm going nuts. Crazy. Too much stress and homework. I want to find a counselor or someone on campus.

I don't know!!!!!!!!

Hello all!

It's been quite a productive night.

After supper with Kjersti, I ran into some random dude wearing a Lecrae shirt (and he was pretty cute!). I stopped and asked him if went to the concert and we talked about where we were located! Then he asked if I was going to Remedy! (Sorry I have to say this again :) )

So, I went to German and didn't learn much. Just went through the book with the very nice tutor.

After, I went to Remedy. I hung out with Karen and Kristin and met some new peeps and briefly talked concert with a guy named Tyler. I literally knew EVERY OTHER SONG we sang. It was eerie...

I feel lifted up. Still not sure what's happening with the funeral...

Saturday Night...Death...

To add to my last post...
Saturday night I found out from Chrissy that my aunt Linda died of cancer. I told Chelsea and we were both shocked.
I was scared to go home. But my mom wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. She told me all about it and got really...emotional...I don't know...it's odd...and I'm not sure if I'm going to the funeral...I really don't want to...it sounds scary...and I don't handle crying family members well...my way of coping is distracting myself so I don't think about it. Then I move on because it's life, I guess. Sure, I cry during shows, but that's because I get WAY into the show...and they have a score which really does the trick...
I got a ride back to college with Jesse and Emily. And stayed up 'til 12:30 this morning working on my bibliography for Arc...and studying for German...bad day...minus seeing Herr Clark twice and Kaia.

Fly Me To the Show!

Hello all!

So Friday started off with me waking up at 9:30 (putting me half an hour behind) because I showered, then ate pancakes with my mom and dad. We were supposed to leave at 10 to go to town and get two steamers and whatever else that needed to be gotten, but we went at eleven instead. We got back at 12:15 and I finished packing and Chelsea called at like 12:30 asking if I was going. I got over there fifteen minutes later...I had stuff everywhere so I had to organize it all (my iPod, homework I didn't do, books, DVD player, clothes, camera, blanket, etc.). So we got there, I put my stuff in the van, went inside, and then we were on our way. We ate at Subway in Alex. It was such a NICE McDonald's!!

We watched the first half of Leap Year, then stopped because the subtitles were giving us a headache and slept and talked and played Mad Gab instead.

Once we got to the cities, we didn't really stop anywhere. We went straight to the club to wait in line. There were two fully decked out girls who were waiting since 12:30 and another group of smaller kids.

There was a chick behind us who was nice and cool, if not a little annoying. :/

So, when we FINALLY got inside, we RAN to the front. We dropped off our stuff and took turns going upstairs to buy things or go to the bathroom. Chelsea went first and took forever! We found out it was because she tried going to the bathrooms downstairs and was caught by security. So then the two VIP chicks got to go in front. Then the girl next to me and I went up to get shirts and whatnot. Then Suzanne.

Revive was AWESOME!! As was Britt Nicole!! And John Reuban was just fun (Dance dance dance dance party party party party)! And Hawk Nelson didn't disappoint! Even though there were technical difficulties such as the sounds not working or something, they sang Fourteen for the first time ever on stage!!

Then afterwards, we got into line for Hawk Nelson's autographs. Suzanne ran to the bathroom and I ran up to get posters for Chelsea and I. I got back down and had to ask this really nice security guard if I could get back in line with my group. He let me in. Then Suzanne didn't come down for a while because Revive was upstairs! She came down, called Chelsea about getting back in line, and finally got in line. Chelsea was first and got a picture! Then came me and I got to talk a bit with Jon (small talk, you know, "Hey how are you?" "Good. How 'bout you?" etc.). Then, after signing, we ran upstairs to get pics with Revive and John Reuban. I HAD A CONVERSATION WITH THE LEAD SINGER OF REVIVE ABOUT HOW "BOB'S YOUR UNCLE!!" "Take a left and a right and Bob's your uncle" was his example. And he wondered how I knew it and thought it was cool that I remembered it. Aw! He was so cool! We didn't get a pic with the cute, unmarried guitarist, though...

Went back to the hotel, talked and watched a bit of house, and slept. Wait! We went to Cub Foods and bought munchies and drinks because "Walmart was closed."

Woke up the next morning, showered, and prepared to go to MOA! We got there and went to the Nickelodeon theme park and got our tickets and rode rides starting with the Ghost Buster thing...I got 660 points! And Chelsea got 330. Then, the epic straight up and down roller coaster. There were many cute guys there. Nathan and I ate at A&W and Suzanne and Chelsea ate at a Chinese place. Then more rides! And Kelly Clarkson was playing and we got to hear her! But not see her.

We stopped at the Disney store (I was in heaven) and...what else? The Nike photo booth and store. Then we got a pic with a model. Then...we...left?

The line for the concert was long. There were cute guys in front of us. Suzanne and I left to get Starbucks and Coldstone, then Chelsea and Nathan. We saw Lecrae while they were gone! They came back and the cute guys in front of us played Ninja. Chelsea ran across the street to get The Onion. There were a whole bunch of cars backed up on the transit at one point.

We booked it when we got in! Chelsea and I got front with Suzanne and Nathan behind us. There was a guy acting drunk behind her and VERY touchy couple next to me. The girl was like all over me and her boyfriend, but I held my ground and never let go of the safety rail.

It was mad! There was so much pushing and moving and bodies and heat! All the rappers that came out moved so much! lol! It was cool to see the Spill videos in between some songs. Trip Lee actually smiled when he came out and sang! It was so cool! Little children...

Chelsea and I left after Lecrae's Jesus Muzik so Suzanne and Nathan could have front row while we went upstairs to rest our legs. It was HOT in the crowd! Up front, it's nice and cool (for the most part). We parted through the PACKED crowd and made our way up the stairs and looked at the merch, then sat down and watched the screen with the performance. The bass blasted the color out of the TV!! I couldn't believe the bass was so loud! And that we were up front experiencing it.

After the concert, Suzanne and Nathan met us upstairs. Suzanne bought a shirt and told us how she got to sing twice! Chorus once and verse for another! AND how she got to touch everyone! But I was happy for her! :D

We went outside and talked and waited for Tammie to show up. An ambulance came. Oh! And Chelsea kept walking when we got outside so we called for her and these guy by her were like "What the heck, Chelsea?" "Yeah, what the f...!" lol!!!

We talked the whole way back and watched House more when we arrived at the hotel and just crashed.

Woke up the next morning, ate at McDonald's, and then drove home. We all mostly slept or listened to music.

I Am So Pumped Right Now!!!!!!! EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!!!

HELLO ALL!!

Today was amazing!
First let me reflect on tonight's Vampire Diaries "Rose." Ahhhhh it was so beautiful. You should've seen me when there was fifteen minutes left. I was pleading with the television; the cutest and saddest "Please" you will ever hear. So...when Damon...SPOILERS AHEAD! SKIP TO NEXT PARAGRAPH IF YOU DON'T WANT TO READ ABOUT THE VAMPIRE DIARIES "ROSE." I cried, I mean, I bawled when Damon told Elena he isn't deserving of her...the sweetest thing ever!! I literally fell to my knees, wrapped my arms around my stomach, and sobbed (silently)...sound familiar?? Ahhhh I'm on such a sweet high (not drugs losers). I was so touched and humbled and had a sweet gahhh moment...swoon...the whole episode just rocked...

My day was pretty AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First off, TWO guys held doors open for me before 10:30 this morning! A couple more did throughout the day!!

My chupacabra speech went AWESOME!! Everyone loved my British accent and I even got my prof to smile! And I got good reviews!!!

And in Global Lit, I got assigned a 7-10 page research paper due next Thursday. Class was fun though! I actually found out the topic and had help with my thesis and lost my ring and found it and my teacher was awesome!

My room is still unlocked due to my roomie losing her keys for the third time...

I am home. For the CONCERTS! And we're going to MOA!!

I can't stop repeating "Holy holy holy" because the VD Forums went through 75 pages of posts in EIGHT hours!!!!! Jeez!! lol I was readig through posts about the whole Elena/staircase thing and they were just eating it up! I have been trying so hard to not laugh out loud and wake everyone up because they ain't seen nothin' yet!!
But now they have and there's TONS of :crylots:

My day has been fantastic! We stopped at B&N. I am just so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Kissed A Vampire!

Hello all!

I still feel like crap, but whatever. Guess what new addiction I have!! It's a web series called "I Kissed A Vampire" that is now a rock musical (but has yet to come out...or even have the release date released *pout face*). Lucas Grabeel and Drew Seeley star in it. They are such fine actors! And singers! I wish I could sing well...I am sad there's only three "acts" to IKAV. Yup, I'm abbreviating it. I can't this "Outta My Head" ;). Seriously go look it up on YouTube.

But hurray! I finished my crap! I just need to see what look interesting to me in this class planner book thing. And I have to give my speech tomorrow. And come up with a thesis statement.
Oh boy...this is going to be a long weekend...I have to research my thesis statement on post colonialism that I don't have and study for a scary German test and prepare for a presentation discussion on Monday...AHHH!!!!!

Let Go and Let God

Hello all.

It's been a cringe worthy day. Earlier on Twitter, I described my feelings as "When I picture myself at the moment, it's me down on my knees, tears silently streaming down my face, my hands wrapped around my stomach (trying to hold myself together and hold back the massive sobs threatening to escape), and-and rocking. Rocking as if I'm in the fetal position."

I don't want to relate today's events of me missing half of class, getting basically yelled at by my teacher, having a test, and missing an appointment.

But, then a light was shown into my dark corner, I went to talkjesus.com and chatted with some people. I just told them of my day and they told me to pray. Instead of saying okay and not wanting to be a bother, I asked questions about what they were telling me (okay, the names were works and Brother Mike). Such as sometimes I don't understand the term "hand it over to Jesus." I know the meaning, but don't know how to do it. You know what I mean? When phrased like that, it sounds like I don't have to do anything and God will take care of it and do it...but I still have to do the work so somehow that doesn't work, you follow? Anyways, works actually prayed for me. Online. I was...shocked! I felt better afterwards.

Good things about today: studying for Archaeology test with Jocelyn and Justin. Finally sending off an email about Bonnie and Matt. TalkJesus.com.

"Have You Hugged A Ginger Today?"

Hello all!

It's been quite a day. This morning I woke up, more tired than ever (I didn't even put in my contacts!) and wanting sleep. The darkness in my room didn't make me feel more awake... :P

First off, cheers! I didn't have to give my speech today! I was close though! Phew!

On my way to class, I saw "Have you hugged a ginger today?" written on the sidewalk.

We performed The Fate of a Cockroach today in my Global Lit. class. It was fun to watch. I played Umm Attiya. I totally missed a line because I was too buy with the action! Oops!!!! I felt terrible...and people laughed at me when I was tossing out the cockroach and cleaning up the ants...unexpected. It kind of threw me off, but I was happy to be noticed. We got pictures taken and I got to know some peoples. Also, a person I know is Senator Dan Skogen's niece!

At lunch I talked with a Christy, a senior, and we hit it off pretty good. Then we departed after we got chicken nuggets. I sat in the cafeteria and then saw a spider that was FAT AND BIGGER THAN A QUARTER. It was GROSS!! But still kind of cool because it was outside, but still on the window.

Butt-Ox Tattoo

Hello all.

Today basically sucked butt. I only got FIVE hours of sleep.

I was so tired this morning (and didn't get a nap in because Jasmine was in and out of room all morning--update! we on good terms now :) ) that I went online and found some lyrics to this Japanese song (theme of Vampire Knight) and stared reading and singing them in Japanese...I stopped when I realized what I was doing lol.

And then Archaeology was a joke. I just have to study for the test Wednesday.

And Jamie wants to watch Lord of the Rings. So I'll study during that.

Well...I was actually productive today! I wrote my speech and did my outline crap and stuff from 4-now with little breaks in between (Twitter, VD Forums, food, library to make PowerPoint) and came back and needed to add something, but there were the computers were all being used by peeps....grr. Chupacabra.

OH! I wrote a nice theory on page 4110 of what I think will happen with Katherine. *nods*

I can't wait for THURSDAY AFTER CLASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all.

Unlike my title, I am not happy; I am cold, tired, hungry, and drained. I stayed up 'til one this morning for who knows what reason and got up at 8. Then I had German. It wasn't fun. I bombed a quiz (thankfully it will count as 100% because everyone thought it was difficult). But anyways, I had to run a paper to Burchill when I ran into Clark! He is so cool! I look forward to having him as a teacher again next semester! Oh, I also found Natasha in the dorm next door's computer lab. She was eating Cheerios and working on German, too!

I really want to for an hour...then have breakfast...or something...Alpha Bits, perhaps?

I don't know what's up with my roommate. She's been...distant lately...and came back REALLY late this morning from Acres of Terror. See below

I've rarely eaten with her (we had to sit with her friends). I saw a hint of meanness when she didn't want to talk to this guy (granted the guy was a douche, I found out afterwards), but still...that ' no excuse for being impolite.
