Hello all!
Um, I have an Archaeology test to study for so I'm make this quick.
Today sucked!! OC wasn't so bad...just listening to speeches. And we got out early! I spent a good hour in DS with some clubbies.
Then it was off to Global Lit. We get to do a play! Or rather 4 pages...I have a small part with a few lines! At least I don't have a crapload of lines to memorize! That's my reasoning for volunteering for the small part. The play we're doing is "The Fate of a Cockroach."
We got out early...so I went back to my room and grabbed different books and stuff.
Then, off to my final Wellness class. It was such a good class period! I love talking about faith, but I'm afraid I'm faltering just a bit due to lack of time and a bit of narcissism. I'm going to miss that class and people...it was easy and I actually learned quite a bit (or it felt like it...I'm pretty sure I didn't learn all that much that I didn't already know). But I believe it was my teacher/prof who made me want to go to class every other day. I'd rather OC be over...and this should be shocking for those of you who know how much I despise any health classes.
Wellness was quite inspiring today. I enjoyed seeing quotes from the Bible which tell us how to live our lives and work in society today...even if it was only a bit. But still...really good.
Then, I went to the library and went on a Mac for the first time (I was so amazed and felt like a child exploring something new...which I was). It's sooo different! But cool. =D
Anyways, then I started reading this book for German. I got into the first five pages (which took half an hour) and was translating and understanding the story and details pretty well, but there were frickin' thirty pages in that "child's" book. Yeah right! Those pages were SO full of text! One picture page, the other filled with not large writing...lame.sauce. Just-no. I gave up and looked at the pictures to figure out my assignment; honestly, I would have continued had I, like, an hour or two.
Then I went back to the room to find an article for German as well.
A knock on the door drew me from my concentration...floor dinner! That lasted a good 45 minutes.
I was in my room for the next half hour trying to figure out where I should start for Archaeology (define terms or read book?). At 7 p.m. was one of my prof's one lady show about an Irish-American woman who was basically a woman's rights activist, but died before she could see her dream of suffrage become a reality.
I took an hour doing last minute German activities (jeez!). This stupid CD-ROM because I noticed a quiz tomorrow...urgh.
At 9 p.m. was Tab. That lasted an hour and a half. I get back to the room, check for updates for tomorrow (I'm going to Fallapalooza...whatever that is...), and try to work out a little. Turns out I leave at 3:30 tomorrow...I think. I don't have to pack much :) .
Um...now to study!
Thanks!
God Bless!
Tiff
PS: It deeply saddens me that there is no new Vampire Diaries tonight...
