Woah! I'm At College Again!

Hello all!

I went to Fallapalooza this weekend! It was fun.

It started out with two girls (Brea and Jen) from a college nearby picking me up. Then we picked up the driver's brother (Michael) And then another girl (Carley). The trunk was SO packed!
We drove for an hour. We played "What're you taking camping?" game...it was words with letter "L."
Then we ate at Brea's and Michael's house. With her family. It was a bit awkward. They had three dogs. When we prayed, their dad led us in prayer and we all held hands! I wasn't used to that. Then we headed out for another hour's drive. It was quiet as I think we were all full and tired. We arrived late. But after "Session 1" which was worship songs and talk, we had campus time (since there were three colleges there). All of us gathered in the Dining Hall. We played Never Have I Ever. I ended up in the middle, like, four times, but others always got me out so I only had to speak twice! :)
Then, I got into my team based on the bandannas after registration (I was Team Poop! lol!). We had to go search the grounds for a paper bag with our color bandanna in it. It took FOREVER as we had no flashlight. Also, the people in charge gave us the wrong clue! They said to search beyond the swings for our clue when it fact it was by the tree line in the open. Both were SO not what they said to be. The bag we found by the swings was on the other side of the road and the other bag was SO not in the open.
We got back inside and had to construct an art project for a staff member.
For free time, I met and hung out with two girls who I don't remember. We sang near the campfire and played Ultimate Frisbee. Then I met Tina and we played games in the Dining Hall. First, we got chocolate/cappuccino to drink, then played cards. Three guys come over and invite us to play a generic Jenga game. One guy (Jared) kinda kept picking on me! lol! But it was all in good fun. We also played Bananagrams with them! Much fun! They kept asking me if some words were actually words or what could be used because apparently I was the only one who played it before (and I've only ever sat down and played the game once!)
Anyways...we left at 1:30 am and I took at shower. So I got to bed at 2 basically. I met Tina for breakfast. For the second session, we had a bit of a Bible Study. And, of course, more worship songs.
Breakout sessions weren't helpful. I didn't learn anything. I just made some new friends! It was cool because I was walking out of the "chapel" and this guy and I just asked where each was going and it turned out we were going to the same place. His name was Joel. We talked until we got inside the gym. Then his friends came and he introduced them to me (his "new friend"). Then we went to the next session together and we talked a bit more and he was nice (took my rocks from this game where I could only say yes). Then, we didn't see each other again (which was okay because he was with some girl.
Lunch with team was cool. Me and this girl (name forgotten) were the only members of Team Poop in the Dining Area for a while. Then our team came. The winning art team from last night got to eat first, then they allowed us up by tables and WE got to go second! Score! Good seating picking done by me and the other girl!
Free time consisted of trying to canoe and row boat, rock wall climbing, and napping. I slept through Freshman Gathering which was just a game anyways.
Then...supper. Session #3 where we learned about Revelations. And, of course, sang.
Men's and Women's times were next. Us girls just got into groups and wrote down questions to ask three married staff ladies. The guys got to go shirtless outside and do two sets of push ups and sit ups, then put duct tape on their chests and try to rip it off each other.
Free time consisted of singing by the campfire until 1:40 am and I showered after.
My bunk bed was comfy. Oh! I actually chose a bottom bunk.
Breakfast next morning was eggs and rolls. Session 4 (in which I raised my hand once while singing Hosanna...just to try it).
Campus times were just getting into our groups and praying and talking a bit about faith.
Then, we packed for home.
The first hour Michael and I discussed Creation and how Evolution is wrong. Also, we got philosophical and then discussed what would happen if the world was flat.
We ate at Brea's and Michael's house again. I was more at ease this time even though we ate Hamburger stew. Much more talking.
The next hour was devoted to video games and manga and anime discussion.
Then, I got back to college. It felt so different. Like the weekend seemed to last so long that when I came back, I felt so out of place again.

Random Notes:
A couple times I couldn't read the words on the screen due to so many hands being raised up in worship.
I didn't agree with some of what was being said because, from what I got, they believed that God is always loving (which he is) but were implying that he is never sad or angry with us. But he is when we sin. Also, they said we weren't sinners anymore because we live with Christ...or something like that. We are still sinners though, but hopefully ones who will be saved.

Random Quotes:
"Hungry? There's an apple for that."
Concerning pregnancy "It'll happen if you think really hard about it."~Jen

Thanks!
God Bless!
